Amsteltaal consists of 8 newcomers' groups.

These are special groups in which non-Dutch speaking children from Group 1 to Group 8 learn Dutch.

We work with these children for up to 1 year, after which they will transfer to the most suitable group in a regular primary school.
 Our goal is to teach our newcomers as much Dutch as possible. We spend a lot of time focused on comprehending, speaking, reading and writing Dutch, and we also introduce the children to Dutch culture.

We have enthusiastic teachers working at Amsteltaal, skilled in NT2 didactics and who enjoy working with children from many nationalities.
