At Amsteltaal, seven parent meetings will be organized this school year on various topics that may be important and useful to parents. We hereby give you an overview of the dates of the meetings. The topics will be filled in as soon as they are known. You can indicate via Parro whether you will attend or not. Here you can see the flyer with general information about the Parent Meetings. 1. Are you a newcomer: expat, knowledge- or labor migrant, or status holder? Did you move to our area: Amstelveen, Ouderkerk or Nes aan de Amstel? Do you want to register your child/children at one of our primary schools or preschools? We are here to help you! What do we do? We provide information about the Dutch education system in general and more specific about the schools in Amstelveen, Ouderkerk or Nes aan de Amstel. We inform you about the procedure to register your child at a (pre)school. We advise parents which schools might be the best fit for their child(ren).&

Dutch course for parents

Dutch course for parents For who is this course? For parents and carers of children in preschool (VVE) or primary school. What will you learn? You will improve your Dutch language skills and become more involved with the school. This way, you can better assist your child. The course lasts for 39 weeks, two lessons per week. Wereldbuur (world neighbour)

Wereldbuur Language is all around you. Many things you have to do via the Internet. Do you have trouble reading and writing? Or do you come from another country and already speak a little Dutch? Let a language coach help you (further)! Taalhuis Wereldbuur is one of the partners of the Taalhuis and jointly responsible for the implementation of both the Taalhuis in Amstelveen and the Taalpunt in Aalsmeer.
